We welcome you all to this page of our ministry, 'Champions of Christ Temple in
the name of Jesus Christ. As you go through these pages of this website, I
want to assure you that God will minister to you, your life will be changed and
you will never be the same again. You who are in need of salvation, Christ will
save you, you who need encouragement and healing, Christ our Jehovah Rapha is
here for you. You who need financial breakthrough, the Lord God owner of all
silver and gold will minister to you.
WHO WE ARE
Champions
of Christ Temple (CCT)is associated with Gospel Revival Centre, situated in Athi
River, 25 km eastern side of Nairobi City. It is precisely in the Eastern
Province of Kenya, Machakos District. Though originally occupied by Kamba tribe
of Kenya, Athi River Town is now home to many tribes of Kenya who have come to
settle there. God’s House of Prayer was founded by Rev. & Mrs. Nicholas
Mulli eight years ago - January 1995 at Kanaan Nursery School. The membership at
the time consisted of the Pastor, his wife and five other brothers. Life was not
easy for Rev. Mulli and his family because he had left his civil service job to
full time ministry. It was not easy to leave a good job with guaranteed pay slip
forfeiting permanent and pensionable benefits and proceed to live by faith.
Indeed, most of Rev. Mulli’s friends deserted him because of his appearance of
lack and need. 
In
1998, the church began to grow despite great opposition. God took them from the
glory of a shop to a temporary paper structure (picture insert) and finally the
glory of a plot purchased when they raised Kshs. 200,000 at a funds drive. The
new structure on their recently acquired plot (picture insert) has been expanded
three times and the fourth phase of expansion is underway. This plot which hosts
the church building is now
too small because it hardly accommodate the current 1,200 members. By the years
2010, Rev. Mulli expects the church to have a membership of 10,000 which this
present structure cannot hold. And for this reason, the church leadership has
embarked on facilitating the purchase of suitable land to accommodate this
vision.
The church ministry is to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a Saviour of mankind and to bring as many people as possible to know Christ.
