About the Founder
In
1 Corinthians 4:1, Apostle Paul reveals that Christians should be regarded as
servants of Christ and steward of the mysteries of God. This is a apt and true
description of Rev. Nicholas Mulli, founder of the Gospel Revival Centre, Athi
River, named God’s House of Prayer. Before he surrendered his life to Jesus,
Rev. Mulli lived his own regenerated life of believing he could serve God on his own terms not by the power of God. A good church-goer and
even a Sunday School teacher and choir member having completed baptism catechism
and baptized. At the age of 23 years, Rev. Mulli surrendered his life to Jesus
Christ, an encounter which had a physical and spiritual manifestation of the
presence of God. To this day, he faithfully serve the Lord and as the Bible says
in 2nd Corinthians 5:17, ‘therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is
a new creation, the old has passed away, behold the new has come’, Rev. Mulli
enjoys the decision he made to follow Christ. In the same year, God spoke to him
in his office and confirmed that he had called him and set him apart for His
work. Rev. Mulli is married to Agnes Mulli and God has blessed them with two
children, Victor and Caleb.

For
nine years, Rev. Mulli was monitored by the late Bishop Mrima and Bishop Mdzomba
who taught him to do the right thing at the right place and at God’s appointed
time because that way he would succeed. In 1995, despite discouragements from
some leaders in the church, he purposed to leave employment for full time
ministry and so left Nairobi for Athi River to start Champions of Christ Temple.
His beloved wife, Agnes Mulli and Bishop Mdzomba were the only source of
encouragement in his decision to serve the Lord on full time basis. Life was
very tough physically and financially for his family having started with only a
membership of six people. Over the years, Rev. Mulli has seen the church grow to
a membership of 1,200 and he now has a vision of having a membership of 10,000
by the year 2010. Signs and wonders follow Rev. N. Mulli ministry and many lives
have been changed and for all these we give God all the Glory. If he can
get a support, he can do greater than what he is doing.
