There is a limit to everything. There is a point we reach when, no matter how much we try, the distance between attaining our goal and when we started appear to get longer by the day. When this happens, stop! Take a breath, and reevaluate your strategy. If this still doesn't work, abandon what you are doing and try something else. It really doesn't make sense to hold onto a project that, for all intent and purposes, cannot work. Of course you need to press through irrespective of dire straits, but, when push comes to shove and there is still no silver lining in the clouds, perhaps it's time to jump ship and swim towards the shore - you might just live to fight another day!
