If you think you are indispensable - that your organization cannot move without you - then it's time you started looking for a job on planet Mars or other galaxy. Pride has a way of exaggerating someone's self worth to the extent that one fails to see other people's contribution to a common cause. The more a balloon is inflated, the easier it is to burst it. People with over- inflated egos are self-destructive. Any good company or organization should do it's best to rid itself of such. Contrary to what many might think, these people are a liability and should be written off as bad debt before they bring everyone down with them. Always strive to create a culture of teamwork wherever you are. Do not create a cult around yourself. When a company is headed by a cultic leader, that company's lifespan is as long as its leader's. However, when there is a culture of collective responsibility in an organization, skills are passed on from one employee to the next. In this scenario, such an organization outlives everyone. Before you allow power to get into your head, remember that pride comes before a fall, and the bigger they come, the harder they fall! -Innocent Mwangi
