Exultation

A friend of mine recently told me; Affirming truth is power. To affirm truth simply means that we should recognize and speak the truth all the time. People whose second nature is speaking lies cannot attain real power and influence. The earlier we realize that truth is unchangeable, the sooner we will experience the power and influence that comes with knowing and speaking the truth. Excuses and lies do not replace the truth. They actually end up making the truth even more apparent, in the same way that a lit lantern is more noticeable in a dark room. Speaking the truth releases a positive burst of energy (power) that sets you free from fear and intimidation. You may not be popular for holding dear to a principle that you know to be true, but soldier on, one day all your detractors will see your light shining in the darkness and will come to you for guidance. - by Innocent Mwangi
