Todays
quote
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hard work is the accumulation of easy things you did not do when you should
have. John C. Maxwell
Todays
verse
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, fulfill your works, your daily tasks,
as when there was straw. Exodus 5:13
Exultation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today's workplace is full of people who seem to work endlessly. These are the
first to arrive at work and the last to leave. And when they leave they carry
office work home. While I have nothing against hard work, I have an issue to
pick with those of us who put off daily tasks that are easy to handle under the
pretext of being 'too busy'. These small tasks left unattended continue to pile
up and, before long, you have a backlog of tasks and a yesterday's deadline to
meet. One is left with no alternative other than to work extra hours, take work
home, among other things. This flurry of activities, together with the
accompanying stress, can be avoided if we learn to handle tasks within the time
slots allocated for them. Remember; it is better to work smart than to work
hard. Have an organized day! - Innocent Mwangi
