I have found out that one of the most repeated sin is that of telling falsehoods. A day rarely ends without most of us saying something that we know to be a lie. It may be a subtle lie in response to a prodding question or a false witness that may even put someone else's life in great jeopardy. If we learn and get used to telling the truth all the time, we will avoid the many complicated situations that lies often get us into. Speaking the truth has a liberating feeling. It gives us an assurance, a sense of confidence that can only come from the knowledge that no matter how things turn out, truth will always bear us out. You may be accused falsely by your detractors, but always remember to stand by the truth. As you get used to speaking the truth, you will start enjoying the liberating feeling that only comes from telling the truth. Have a truthful day! - By Innocent Mwangi
